It’s great news for the people of Gurugram that the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) has planned to build Gurugram Haat on the lines of Delhi Haat. This initiative is set to be located in Sector-37C, covering 2.38 acres of land near Expande Shopping Mall. The proposal has been sent to the headquarters for approval, and once granted, the construction work will commence.

The location’s proximity to the 60-meter wide road and Dwarka Expressway ensures easy accessibility for the residents of nearby societies such as Apex Our Homes, Krona Optus, Imperial Sfira, Takshila Heights, ILD Greens, RMG Residency, BPTP Park Sarin, BPTP Park Generation, Ramprastha City, Ramprastha Atrium, and more. This development is expected to bring convenience to the residents, allowing them to shop and indulge in various food and cultural activities without having to travel far.

The Gurugram Haat is envisioned as a vibrant marketplace, resembling a village market, with a focus on handicrafts, food, and cultural activities. The proposed small shops will be auctioned through e-auction, showcasing a diverse range of traditional products. Adequate parking and seating arrangements will be made to ensure a hassle-free experience for visitors.

Vikas Dhanda, Estate Officer I, HSVP, mentioned that the plan aims to enhance Gurugram’s tourism aspect by creating a market that reflects the diversity and culture of India. The proposal has been prepared and submitted for approval, and once greenlit, the construction work will begin.

This initiative not only adds a recreational space for the residents but also contributes to the promotion of local culture and businesses, making Gurugram a more attractive destination for both residents and tourists.
