The New Road Linking Dwarka and Manesar: Good news for all the people who drive in the new areas! GMDA has just built a new 120-meter piece of road on Rampura-Pataudi road. They couldn’t build this part before.

Dadi Sati Chowk is an important crossing with lots of cars every day. It connects Manesar to Dwarka Expressway and NH-8 to Pataudi Road.

As per what GMDA officials say, they not only built a part of the road but also fixed up the main road with a special kind of road material. They also made two roads going to sectors 85 and 86. But, there’s a problem – they can’t finish it yet because of some legal issues in another case.

On top of that, there are a bunch of places like restaurants, car repair shops, and plant nurseries on that land.

Work on this 120-meter stretch of the main road got stuck because it took a while to get the land needed. But once the land issue got sorted out by HSVP, they quickly built this part of the road and two smaller roads, finishing it in just two days. A GMDA official said it would make driving smoother and help with traffic at the Dadi Sati Chowk roundabout.

But there’s a problem too – a person who wants land on both sides of the street went to court, and the court said the construction of the other two smaller roads can’t happen for now.

The officials mentioned that they’ve resolved most of the pending issues, but there are still about six matters that need to be sorted out. Last month, TOI reported that the intersection had traffic problems because the construction was taking so long.

People living in the area are happy about this news and say it should have happened a while ago. It’s also great for folks who have to drive slowly on bumpy roads and deal with traffic jams during rush hours. But they also want GMDA to finish the rest of the work, especially near Bestech Ananda, according to Kumar Ashok, who is the president of Bestech Grand Spa Residents Welfare Association.

The government had a plan to build a nice road from Baur Reservoir in Gularbhoj town to Tilbury Barrier in Udham Singh Nagar district, as part of their tourism idea. But the work got delayed.

The people in charge of water stuff also wanted to make four new roads, but that’s been taking a while too. This lack of good roads is causing trouble for both tourists and the folks who live there because they have to take longer routes.

The project was supposed to cost less, but now it’s gone up to Rs 21.5 crore. They’re hoping to start building it soon.

Also, they’re asking for people to offer their plans and prices for cleaning out sewer pipes in another part of town. This project is all about stopping sewage from overflowing and making the water system work better.

There’s a problem in Pune with streetlights not working on a bumpy road, which is dangerous for drivers and people walking around at night. People are worried because the streetlights don’t get fixed or checked regularly.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) told their teams to fix the lights and they’re going to look into why they keep breaking. People who care about the city want the PMC to be clear about how much money they spend on fixing, maintaining, and putting in streetlights.
