In recent enforcement actions, the District Town Planner (DTP) of Gurugram conducted a demolition drive against illegal constructions in Sarai Alaverdi. This move came in response to a complaint lodged through the Chief Minister’s window, highlighting the need to curb unauthorized development in the region. The DTP team, accompanied by the police, promptly reached the site and took action to dismantle the unlawful structures. Additionally, the authorities issued a stern warning, emphasizing that any future attempts at unauthorized construction would result in legal consequences.

Demolition of Illegal Construction

Commercial Activities Lead to Sealing of 10 Properties in Vatika City

In another significant development, the DTP enforcement team sealed ten properties in Sector-82 and Sector-83 of Vatika City, Gurugram. These properties were found to be conducting commercial activities on residential plots, a violation of the city’s zoning regulations. The businesses operating in these areas, including offices and clinics, were issued notices prior to the sealing action. Unfortunately, their replies failed to meet the required standards, leading to the enforcement measures being taken.

Illegal Colony Case Referred by Chief Minister’s Office

The issue of an illegal colony situated in village Alaverdi was brought to the attention of the concerned department through the Chief Minister’s Office. Upon thorough investigation, the complaint was deemed to be valid, prompting the authorities to take immediate action. The DTP team, in collaboration with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) engineer acting as the duty magistrate, arrived at the site and demolished the unauthorized structures. Simultaneously, a clear message was conveyed that any recurrence of illegal construction would result in the initiation of legal proceedings.

Strict Warnings Issued Against Tampering with Seals

Following the sealing of the establishments in Vatika City, the DTP enforcement team issued strong warnings against tampering with the seals. Any attempts to violate the sealed properties would result in the filing of legal cases against the offenders. This measure was taken to ensure that the enforcement actions maintain their effectiveness and deter others from engaging in similar illegal activities.

Members of the DTP enforcement team, including Manish Yadav, JE Takdeer Singh, Shubham Sharma, and Ajay Sangwan, were present throughout the enforcement operations, ensuring the smooth execution of the actions.
