This Monday, authorities acted against people illegally occupying land belonging to the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP).

The operation was carried out with a strong police presence in Sector 37 Part 2 during the afternoon. While the occupants tried to protest during the process, the police didn’t let their protest continue.

HSVP officials mentioned that some individuals requested a day to clear out the vehicles parked on the land. Furthermore, the team found about 200 canters, trucks, and buses parked unlawfully on the department’s vacant land, and these were towed away. Additionally, illegally constructed slums were also demolished.

He also mentioned that there are plans to construct a commercial complex on this Haryana Urban Development Authority land.

While the operation was taking place, a survey team led by Sub Divisional Engineer Ajmer, including JE Vijay, Raju, Surat Singh, Patwari, Sanjeev Yadav, Jaswant Yadav, Dayanand, Virendra, and Balwinder, were present as duty magistrates.
