From the New Year, the district will see the implementation of new collector rates. This time, there will be minimal differences in collector rates for areas dividing two tehsils.
On Thursday, the Revenue Department and all SDMs of the district deliberated on setting collector rates under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. Changes in collector rates for residential, agricultural, and commercial land will take effect in the fiscal year 2024
District Magistrate Nishant Kumar Yadav informed that the proposed collector rates for the year 2024 for the district are now available on the Jamabandi Dot NIC portal and the Gurugram administration’s website.
Additionally, the offices of all relevant tehsils and SDMs have the details of the newly proposed rates. Residents can raise objections to any new collector rates at their respective levels within the district.

The opportunity to submit complaints will be open until December 17th.
If people find the collector rates too high or too low in any area, they can file a complaint at the SDM office. Suggestions on objections are to be submitted to the District Magistrate’s office by December 19th.
The District Magistrate mentioned that based on the received recommendations from all tehsils, a district-level meeting will be held to discuss and review the proposed collector rates before seeking departmental approval at the headquarters.
The approved collector rates for the year 2024 will be enforced from January 1st. Officials present at the meeting included SDM Pradeep Singh from Sohna, SDM Vishwajeet Chaudhary from Badshahpur, SDM Ravinder Yadav from Gurugram, SDM Sandeep Agrawal from Pataudi, and District Revenue Officer Poonam Babbar, along with all tehsildars and deputy tehsildars.
