Thanks to the grape harvest, after the removal of the ban on demolitions, the Town and Country Planning Department’s three district town planners from the Enforcement (DTP&E) are gearing up for both demolition and sealing campaigns. The chief DTP of Enforcement, Manish Yadav, has prepared a schedule for sealing drives in licensed colonies in December, while the other DTPs from the Enforcement are set for demolition actions in illegal colonies

Grapple-3 brought a halt to demolitions

The eligible person has also been sent the schedule approval to appoint a duty magistrate. Due to the increasing pollution in the Delhi-NCR region, the fourth phase of Grapple was implemented, leading to a complete ban on construction and demolitions in the city. Even after the reduction in pollution, the third phase was implemented, but the ban remained in place.

Now, on Tuesday, the third phase has been removed. It’s time for some action, and plans for campaigns in different areas have been made by various DTP&E departments. DTP&E Manish Yadav has devised plans for sealing campaigns in different licensed colonies.

Although campaigns have been initiated by DTP&E Manish since after Diwali, with five to six campaigns in the last 20 days, sealing operations have also been carried out

Similarly, DTP Enforcement, led by Sumit Malik, has also prepared a plan for ten sealing campaigns in December. These campaigns will take place in areas like Farrukhnagar, Pataudi, Manesar, Bilaspur, near Sector-10A, Rajendra Park, and so on.

DTP Enforcement Sumit Malik revealed plans for significant crackdowns in December. The demolition campaigns were paused for the past one and a half months. Similarly, DTP Enforcement Binesh Kumar has outlined plans for 12 to 15 sealing campaigns. These demolition campaigns will target illegal colonies or ongoing unauthorized constructions in areas like Sohna, Bhondsi, and Gwal Pahadi.
