The folks in charge of Haryana’s Global City project in Gurugram are looking for partners to develop four pieces of land, and these plots add up to a total of 172.76 acres.
They’re planning to sell these plots for making shops and houses in the massive 1,000-acre Global City project. They believe it could attract a whopping $15 billion in investments! This Global City is being built near Gurugram sectors 36B, 37A, and 37B, right across from the Dwarka Expressway.
It’s going to have places to live, factories, and places to shop. They’re designing the homes to be like their own little towns, focused on high-tech jobs, eco-friendly living, skills training, and creating jobs.
Plot Size
If you want to join in, you need to sign up by November 20, 2023. The big event where they’ll sell these plots is happening on December 5. And if you’re curious, they’ll have a meeting at the end of this month in Gurugram to answer questions from potential bidders.”

Land Use
Okay, here’s the scoop on these pieces of land: two of them are about 86 acres and 24 acres big. Most of the space on these will be used for shops and houses, like 65% for businesses, and 35% for homes.
Now, there’s another piece that’s around 58 acres, and they’re planning to split it right down the middle, with half for shops and houses each. And there’s a small 4.84-acre spot they’re keeping just for schools.
Price
Here’s the price tag for these plots:
- The big 86-acre plot costs Rs 1,47,500 for every square meter.
- The 24-acre plot is a bit cheaper at Rs 1,28,000 per square meter.
- The 58-acre one is even more affordable, at Rs 1,21,000 per square meter.
- Now, there’s a smaller 4.85-acre plot, and that one’s just Rs 56,500 per square meter, but it’s meant exclusively for building a school.
Facilities the Global City will offer
Here’s what makes this Global City special: they’re building a unique “Utility Tunnel” under the roads. This tunnel will house things like water pipes, phone lines, and power cables. The cool part is that it will eliminate the need to dig up the roads for repairs or upgrades in the future.
