The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) has achieved yet another milestone in the district of Gurugram. Recent reports reveal the sale of plots amounting to approximately 200 crore rupees. However, an astonishing revelation accompanies this news – the acquired plots lack accessible routes, leaving buyers in a perplexing situation.

Plots Sold Amidst Accessibility

HSVP’s Notable Triumph: Plots Worth 200 Crore Rupees Sold, Access Woes Persist

Unveiling this unexpected predicament, purchasers of these plots have raised allegations of falling into a quagmire after investing substantial sums in the HSVP-acquired properties. The plots were transacted without the inclusion of essential facilities or access routes, a glaring oversight that has left buyers frustrated despite their attempts to engage with officials.

Accessibility Crisis Grips Buyers of HSVP Auctioned Plots in Gurugram

Purchasers recount that in the year 2022, the Haryana Urban Development Authority conducted an e-auction for plots spanning approximately 3 acres in Pocket-E of Sector-47. These plots were valued at around 5 crore rupees each during the auction. Regrettably, the initially promised routes to access the plots turned out to be far from reality. Despite amassing around 200 crore rupees through this auction, the department is seemingly retracting its commitment to facilitate access to the plots.

Buyers Contemplate Legal Recourse as HSVP Auctioned Plots Lack Access Routes

In response to this exasperating situation, buyers are now contemplating serving official notices to concerned authorities and pursuing legal action to address their grievances. These buyers have invested their life savings into these plots, only to find themselves unable to commence construction due to the absence of proper access. On one side, a builder has erected a wall, while on the opposing side, the department has failed to provide any viable pathways to reach the plots. Currently, individuals are compelled to traverse through other individuals’ plots to access their own.

Addressing the ongoing turmoil, Estate Officer-2 Suman Bhakhar stated that efforts to establish facilities and access routes are already underway. Nonetheless, the controversy surrounding this situation persists, and the District Town Planner (DTP) has been entrusted with the task of clearing the way. Assurances have been made that a solution will be implemented promptly to alleviate the current accessibility concerns.
