Deputy Commissioner advised locals to avoid registering a floor in a home that is less than 180 square yards in size. He said that “the registry would be canceled and those responsible for the registration procedure will be punished.”

Executing unauthorized registries will result in legal penalties for revenue officers. If a revenue official is discovered to have participated in the execution of an illegal registry, the deputy commissioner has ordered that FIRs be filed against them. Due to a violation of the builder floor regulations, the DC recently canceled the registration of apartments in Palam Vihar.

After holding a panel discussion with revenue officers, DC Nishant Yadav stated: “Strict directions have been decided to issue to revenue officers to just not register floor-wise sale deeds of plots measuring less than 180 square yards. Any breach will encourage penal action against the sub-registrar and registry clerk.”

Additionally, he advised citizens against registering a floor in a home that is less than 180 square yards in size. He said that “the registry would be canceled and those responsible for the registration procedure will be punished.”
