The drainage from the main drain (drain) was not the main reason for the water filled in the underpass in the underpass on Wednesday-Thursday’s two-day rain on the Golf Course Road. Two main drains were not even cleaned before the monsoon by GMDA to remove water from the underpass. Please tell that this road was constructed by DLF management and HSVP at a cost of about 600 crores. Surprisingly, the roadway for the drainage of 250 mm pipe along the Golf Course Road for drainage of road water was closed.
There are two main drains on the road from where underpass water is drawn. One is connected by MG Road and the other is connected through Sector-28 to Chakarpur Dam. Also, officials of DLF management have also claimed that the main drain was not clean, due to which the water running from the pump was returning to the well of the underpass. Case investigation
There has been only one discussion on WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter for the last three days about how world class infrastructure has failed even after spending crores of rupees. For this, the DLF management and HSVP officials who were supervising the project at the time of construction of the golf course road should be summoned and action should be taken after investigating the entire case. At the same time, the poll of officials who are preparing an estimate of crores of rupees for cleaning the drain should also be open, who are pouring public money into the drain.
Things became normal on Friday
On Friday, DLF Phase-1 and Sector-53, 56 underpasses were again operational for traffic. After draining the water on Thursday, all underpasses were cleaned and opened for traffic on Friday.
