These orders have been issued by the District Collector and Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri, which will be effective from 10 am on Friday, 1 May. In the orders issued by the Collector, it has been said that to prevent further spread of the virus, such measures are necessary in the public interest to reduce the flow of people across the border. For this, it is necessary that the people working in Gurugram but they are not resident here should make arrangements for them to stay in Gurugram and those who work in other places outside the border of Gurugram district but they If the residents are living, such people should also get their accommodation arranged from the respective management there so that daily cross-border traffic can be eliminated.
It has also been said in the orders that those who have already been allowed under the exemption given as per the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs will be able to cross the border. Apart from these, permission is to be obtained from the District Collector office to go across the border if it is very mandatory, which will be given based on the nature of the requirement.
Authorized officers or employees of Government offices, Prime Minister’s Office, Union Home Ministry, Finance, Defense, Department of Posts, Disaster Management and Early Warning Agencies, National Informatics Center, Food Corporation of India officials or employees on showing their valid identity cards Cross-border traffic will be allowed as before. But they will have to install the Arogya Setu app on their mobile and use it. Thermal scanning and disease screening will also be done at the border at the time of admission. Movement passes issued by authorized officials of the Government of India or the Government of Haryana will also be able to cross the border. Similarly, ambulances, ATM cash vans, LPG, oil containers or tankers will also be allowed. Vegetables, fruits, grains, eggs, meat, poultry, milk, grains, pulses and other foodstuffs, green and dry fodder supplies for animals and poultry, piggery etc., medicines, medical equipment and construction Traffic will also be allowed to those who supply the necessary raw materials etc. and PPE kits, masks, gloves, sanitizers, ventilators and similar items.
The orders also said that vehicles carrying essential or non-essential items or goods on national highway or state highway would be allowed to enter the district but permission to park these vehicles within the border of Gurugram district. Will not happen. All these will also be screened at the border while thermal scanning and disease indicator screening.
These orders will come into force from 10 am on May 1, 2020. Under the supervision of the duty magistrate through check posts and police points set up at all the boundaries of the district, compliance of these orders will be ensured and videography will also be done. Criminal action will be taken against those who disobey orders under various provisions of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Indian Penal Code 1860.
