Gurugram: Good News! Finally after delayed by 3 months, DPR (detailed project report) of “Gurugram metro” link route, is now going to start a new metro route. The new metro route will connect Huda City Centre with Sector 23, Gurgaon. The project report has been submitted to HMRTC (Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation), news confirmed by GMDA (Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority).
The project meeting was held on last Friday with the officials of HMRTC, RITES, and GMDA. For the final approval, the report has been sent to the centre. “According to the sources, expecting the project will start by this year only.”

Gurugram Metro Linking Route:
According to the official report, metro will start from Huda City Centre up to Sector 23, joining “Subhash Chowk -> Hero Honda Chowk -> Dwarka Expressway near Sector 101 -> sector 104 -> sector 4 -> sector 5 -> sector 9 -> sector 9A -> sector 10 -> sector 10A.

At the initial stage, 19 metro stations were planned on the metro passage. But in the amended plant it may connect 22 metro stations decided by official authorities. Nevertheless, the project appears as a big relief for the homebuyers or property on Dwarka Expressway (such as Joyville sector 102, sector 104, Experion sector 108, Westerlies, and sector 112). The new metro linking project is being jointly executed & developed by HMRTC and GMDA, at an approximate value of Rs 1785 Cr.
